Whether it’s in athletics, real estate investing, business success, whatever, many people tend to think the individual achieved overnight success. They were always at the top. They were always successful. For most people, this is just not the case.

Success. Many people love a great success story. When people first hear about a successful person, athlete, company owner, real estate investor, actor, singer, etc, many times it’s after they achieved great success. When the individual gains success and notoriety, that’s when more and more people are introduced to that person. That’s when papers write articles, that’s when tv stations broadcast the news, that’s when big contracts are executed. We are all guilty of thinking wow that guy just hit it big!
Failure & Struggles Before Success
I interview a lot of very successful real estate investors on my podcast. What I’ve learned from each of them is that they had hard times, learning lessons, struggles and failures before they achieved great success.
Why do I share this story with you?
In real estate investing, each and every one of us starts with zero investment properties. You can’t build a portfolio or an empire without starting with that first investment property. It’s never too late or too early to get started. Just get started! With each deal you will learn and be ready to take on the next challenge!
